Quick Bootstrap Statistics 6.1

The bootstrap technique is a statistical method used to estimate sample parameters from a limited dataset. By randomly resampling with replacement from the original data, this approach generates a distribution that approximates the Normal Distribution, enabling the calculation of parametric statistics such as mean, standard deviation, skewness, and kurtosis.

Within this application, a minimum of six data points is required (recognizing that zero is a valid data point). The resampling process produces 10,000 or more data sets, with the size of each set determined by the user—larger in the iPad version and typically two in the iPhone version.

The iPad iteration offers increased flexibility for resampling and more comprehensive data entry options. It also provides functionality to add, retrieve, reorder, or delete data sets as needed.

Results generated on the iPad can be shared via email, text message, or printed directly from the device.
